This campground gives you car camping done right: full hookups, paved sites, and zero pretense. You're essentially camping in town, which means hot showers, laundry facilities, and a general store steps away. It's the practical choice when you want tent or RV camping without sacrificing basics. Most sites sit in the open, so you get direct sun and mountain views rather than forest seclusion.
Book a full-hookup RV site if you have a vehicle that takes them, or grab a tent pad on the outer loop for slightly more greenery. Sites 1 through 40 overlook the Bow Valley. The campground has a kitchen shelter, pay showers, and flush toilets throughout. Tunnel Mountain itself is a quick 2.2-kilometre walk from here if you want a late-afternoon hike without driving.
Reserve this spot for shoulder season (May, September) when other campgrounds fill and you want reliable amenities. July and August are packed, and you'll lose any sense of seclusion. The trade-off is noise from the Trans-Canada Highway and neighbouring sites closer than you might want. Pick here if you're here for activities and hiking rather than a backcountry feel.
